Title: Aesop’s Fables
Author: David Olivier
Publisher: IBC PUBLISHING
Level: 3.1
Summary:
This book has many short stories. You can learn a lesson from each of them. “The story of the Bat” and “The Boy Who cried Wolf” give us a lesson: not tell a lie or you will lose confidence. “The Ant and the Grasshopper” teaches that the most important thing is that save in the good times for the bad times to come. Each of the lessons is very instructive and has humor, but is not difficult.
Rate: ★★★★☆
“Aesop’s Fables” is the very book which children should read, I think. The books like this we can see at any book stores, but all of them don’t reach it. So I think this book is also a text for dreaming of a writer of fairy tales.
I was surprised at one thing. The writer of this is Aesop, and he is a person who lived ancient Greece! So the story also lives over 2000 years! Good book lived long, and is read forever, I think.
